VENUE CHANGE FROM THIS THURSDAY NIGHT 7PM CLASSwe are back at the r.s.l hall at 58 arnold st holland parkthis hall has been refurbished and is now air conditioned as well this is an intermediate/upper intermediate class from 7pm till 8pm the class will be of intermediate level, therefore i will have only an hour to teach the intermediate dances (one a week), do any revision and any walk thrus of these dances thus, from 8pm it will be interm/upper interm teaching thus more time will be devoted to the practice and teaching of these level of dances consequently more dancing will be done, and we will hopefully remember more. and get more dancing in this level i will still only do about 2 harder level dances a month and this may include a revision of a higher intermediate dance but i hope to increase the volume of actual dancing etc in this level - for eg i have taught "heaven on earth", "mr whoever you are" and revised "abracame" as well as teach the intermediate dances "pitbull samba, playing with fire, let's dance"during the month of february Line Dancing TourSabah Borneo Malaysia10 - 1 7 July 2010Escorted by Debbie Greaves - dallas linedancers

Welcome drinks and dinner. Fun Pub open in the evening for entertainment. Day 3 Mon - Lok Kawi Wildlife Park / City Tour (12 July) Breakfast from 7:00 am. Coach pick up at 8:30 am for tour to Lok Kawi Wildlife Park. The park is a combination of zoo and botanical gardens. Set on 280 acres, animals can been seen roaming in their enclosures. View an array of Borneo’s fascinating wildlife including the Wild Man of Borneo – the orangutan, sun bears, clouded leopard, pygmy elephants, Sumatran rhinoceros, proboscis monkeys, tigers, mouse deer, barking deer, and various species of birds. Lunch is at the seaside promenade at Tanjung Aru First Beach Café. After lunch the tour continues into the bustling capital of Sabah, Kota Kinabalu. Visit the Sabah State Museum, with displays and artefacts from Sabah’s past, including longhouses, and see modern works of art that depict the vibrant present. Pass by the State Mosque, a resplendent structure with majestic domes and gold motifs. A drive up Signal Hill gives a birds-eye view of the City enroute to the Menara Tun Mustapha (former Sabah Foundation Building), icon hanging building. Next is a visit to the Buddhist Temple followed by a shopping tour at the local department stores and markets where you can order spectacles, tailoring or any other merchandise that may take a few days to produce. Return to Tuaran Beach for Dinner. Evening of line dancing. Day 4 (Tue) – Tuaran Beach Resort / day of leisure / Night Life KK (13 July) Breakfast at leisure and lunch at leisure Lounge beside the pool or on the beach, visit the day spa, go horse-riding, cycling, catch the shuttle bus to Kota Kinabalu and shop at the many exciting outlets from street vendors to designer and label boutiques, or simply relax. Add-on a half day or full day tours from Tuaran Beach Resort are available. Suggestion: Afternoon workshop Early dinner in the dining room. Board the coach for an evening in Kota Kinabalu visiting some of the great bars and line dancing opportunities. Day 5 (Wed) – Day of Leisure / OPTIONAL Day Tour (14 July) Day of Leisure. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included. Optional Day Tour – Full Day Tour to Kinabalu National Park / Kundasang Memorial Gardens / Poring Hot Spring & Canopy Walk (at an additional cost—please request at time of booking). Board the Tour Bus for the world heritage listed Kinabalu National Park, stopping at Nabalu village for spectacular views of Mt Kinabalu, Malaysia’s highest mountain. Visit the National Park Interpretation Centre with an early lunch served at Mountain Lodge. Visit the Kundasang War Memorial Gardens dedicated to the Australian and English POW service men who lost their lives and those few who survived, whilst being held captive by the Japanese during WWII. Arrive at Poring Hot Spring. Either relax by the Hot Spring baths or climb the Canopy Walk. 41 m above the tropical forest floor and 157.8 metres long this walk is recommended for the more adventurous and takes approx 1 hour. Board the coach to return to Tuaran Beach Resort with a stop-off at Nabalu village to visit the local handicraft market. Day 6 (Thur) - Kota Kinabalu (15 July) Day of Leisure. Breakfast and lunch included at Tuaran. Farewell Dinner at Tuaran Beach followed by line dancing.
